Messy Press is an independent children’s publishing and creative studio founded by creative partners, Erica Harrison and Adam Thompson.

Erica has been designing and illustrating in children’s publishing for over 20 years. She has been responsible for many best-selling titles for some of the world’s top children’s publishers. She is co-creator of the upcoming Detective Stanley Mysteries, a young graphic novel series.

Adam hails from creative advertising and marketing, with over 20 years brand experience at some of the best ad agencies in the world. After starting out as an art director in London, he became an award-winning creative director, and was head of youth brands at the BBC.

The team operates globally from Messy Creative Studio HQ in Auckland, where they create books and projects under the close supervision of studio kitten, Luna.
